Proprietary technology
Regulation before action.
Time Eligibility Protocol (TEP) is Quanthio's proprietary technology, protected under U.S. Provisional Patent Application No. 63/989,303, for determining whether an action should happen now, later, or not yet — based on the system's history.
The difference
A standard system acts on the signal. TEP reads the history first.
Where a conventional system moves straight from signal to action, TEP inserts a single evaluation step: it reads the history, evaluates the trajectory and determines readiness before the action is allowed to happen.
Why history matters
The same state now can require a different decision because its history is different.
TEP for AI
AI can generate. TEP asks whether it should generate now.
In AI systems, TEP can operate before generation: allowing a normal response, constraining the response, or returning NOT YET when the history does not provide a reliable basis for action.
